Course Description

This eLearning comprises 5 modules, which must be taken sequentially and form a learning path. Module 1 This module aims to build on your current knowledge of safe working practices on and around the electrical equipment which forms the signalling power distribution system. This will be achieved by introducing you to a new set of safety instructions which have been produced. Module 2 This module will help you to understand Live and Dead working on or near signalling power distribution equipment above 175 v ac and will explore the flowcharts designed to help you plan work in accordance with NR/SPS S001. Module 3 This module will help you to understand the Live Working requirements in accordance with NR SPS / S002 and how to check tools and protective equipment. Module 4 This module will help you to understand the Isolation of Electrical Supplies in accordance with NR/ SPS S003 and the basic isolation procedure. Module 5 This module will help you to understand how to safely access equipment housings and the entry and exit procedures contained within NR/SPS S004.
